The "Frosted" Flatirons
We got an unexpected snowdump in the middle of the night ...
at least a half a foot of fresh powdery snow had fallen by sunrise.
I had to capture this shot as the Flatirons 'reign' over the town - some say they are magical rocks that attract people here with their energy.
I think they are such interesting formations to look at each day.
Also, a favorite desitination for rock climbers.
I was fortunate to be taken climbing on the second one
when I first moved out here, incredible views.
If you look at yesterday's pic you will see what a difference a day makes!
